Who we are
We connect residents, organizations, businesses, artists, educators, and advocates—turning shared vision into opportunity, celebration, and lasting community impact.
Founded in 2015, Black Alliance of the South is a community-centered network committed to educating, empowering, and elevating Black communities throughout the South. The Alabama chapter is now being established, with its headquarters located in Huntsville.
We create opportunities for collaboration, celebrate Black culture and achievement, strengthen local businesses, and connect families with programs and resources. Through festivals, recognition initiatives, civic engagement, and strategic partnerships, the Alliance turns collective vision into action and supports sustainable growth across the South.
A lasting connection
The Huntsville Black Alliance Directory is a year-round resource connecting residents with businesses, organizations, and services throughout Huntsville and surrounding areas. Eligible directory listings are free, with no additional cost.
